This workshop will:
Dispel the top 3 common myths about parenting: that we should always keep the united front, kids should come first and that great parenting should be natural and instinctive.
Cover 3 parenting styles and the effects it has on the family.
Explain why our listening tends to fail us when we are in conflict
Introduce Active Listening Skillswhich will help parents connect more deeply and empathically with our children.Ranka Joyce is an experienced relationship counsellor, psychotherapist, Parent Effectiveness Training and Bringing Baby Home facilitator who works with parents who are struggling with their children. She also offers talks and courses for parents. Ranka's focus is on helping parents build strong connections with their children for now and for the future.
